Where the listings live

Every job, rental, room, course and community service we have is on one page, sorted by category — all listings and categories. Signing up is free and always the first step; the catalogue itself is part of a paid plan, because it is our time that goes into building it, verifying the providers behind it and handling what happens after you apply.

What your plan pays for. Your fee covers our time putting this catalogue together and helping you apply — nothing else. It is not a fee for a job and not a fee for a tenancy: we charge you no premium for employment (Wages Protection Act 1983, s 12A) and no letting fee or key money (Residential Tenancies Act 1986, ss 17 and 17A), and we never take payment from both you and a landlord or employer over the same property or role. Nothing in the catalogue is a job offer or a tenancy offer, and applying costs you nothing extra.

Listings come from third parties — landlords, property managers, employers and registered providers — who are responsible for their own accuracy, availability and legal compliance. We review submissions but we don't inspect properties or audit employers. Check anything important yourself before you commit: view the place, read the tenancy or employment agreement, and never pay money to anyone who asks for it before you have signed. Registered providers pay us a listing fee, which is a fee for being listed and not a commission on you. If a listing looks wrong or a provider asks you for a fee we've said you shouldn't pay, tell us at info.jtrglobalopenwings@gmail.com.

Accommodation: this tenancy will comply with the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and the Healthy Homes standards, the bond will be lodged with Tenancy Services, and I will not ask any applicant for key money or a letting fee (ss 17 and 17A). Jobs: this role complies with New Zealand employment law — a written agreement, at least the minimum wage, and holiday and leave entitlements — and I will not ask any applicant for a payment or premium in connection with it (Wages Protection Act 1983, s 12A).
