Service Agreement
This is the agreement you sign before your assistance starts. Read it here in full before you sign anything — when you do sign, a dated copy with your own details filled in is filed in your document folders.

1. Signing comes before paying
Joining JTR Global OpenWings Assist happens in this order, and it is enforced — not merely suggested:
- Create your account. Free, no card needed.
- Fill in your client form. Who you are, what you need, and the work history, education and skills we write your CV and cover letters from.
- Choose your membership and sign this agreement. Choosing a package charges you nothing. The agreement you sign is for a term equal to the package you chose.
- Your weekly payments start. Only after the agreement is signed does checkout open, and your assistant begins work.
You cannot reach a payment page without a signed agreement, and we will not accept a signature from someone whose client form is not complete — we do not take money before we know what we are being asked to do.

2. The parties
This agreement is between JTR Global OpenWings Limited, trading as JTR Global OpenWings Assist, a New Zealand company based in Auckland ("JTR", "we", "us"), and you, the client named in the signed copy. Your name, email address, package, weekly rate, term and the date you signed are recorded in your copy.
We are a virtual and personal assistance service. Virtual: your assistant works with you remotely, by chat, email and phone, wherever in the world you are. Personal: you are assigned one named assistant who knows your file, and who meets you and comes with you in person in the Auckland area when a task needs someone physically there.
3. The packages, rates and terms
Memberships are charged as a weekly rate for a fixed term. There is no lump sum: the "total over the term" below is what you will have paid by the end of the term, not an amount due at the start.
| Package | Rate | Term of the agreement | Total over the term |
|---|---|---|---|
| One-off assistance | $199 once | a minimum of one day and a maximum of one week | $199 |
| 3-month membership | $25 per week | 13 weeks (3 months) | $325 |
| 6-month membership | $15 per week | 26 weeks (6 months) | $390 |
| 12-month membership | $10 per week | 52 weeks (12 months) | $520 |
The term of your agreement is the term of the package you choose — 13, 26 or 52 weeks for a membership, or one week for one-off assistance. Your weekly rate is fixed for the whole of that term. No membership renews automatically: the weekly charges stop by themselves when the term ends. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST where GST applies.
4. What is included in every package
CV writing and cover letters are included in every package, one-off assistance included, at no extra charge:
- A professional CV written for the New Zealand market, from the work history, education and skills on your client form — rewritten and updated during your term as your situation changes.
- A cover letter tailored to each application we send on your behalf.
- A virtual assistant you reach by chat, email or phone.
- In-person help around Auckland when a task needs a person there.
What else we do depends on your package and on what you asked for on your client form: searching and shortlisting accommodation, completing and sending rental and job applications, preparing and organising your documents, making calls and bookings for you, and referring you to landlords, employers, education providers, Licensed Immigration Advisers and lawyers.
5. One-off assistance
One-off assistance is one task: either finding accommodation, or a round of job hunting. You choose which one. It is a single $199 fee, not a weekly rate, and the agreement is a fixed term of one week: we aim to deliver in a day, and in no case take longer than one week from the day we start. If we cannot finish inside the week, we will tell you before the week is out and refund you if we have not delivered. CV writing and a cover letter are included.
6. Weekly payment and your fixed term
Payments are processed by Stripe. For a membership, Stripe charges your weekly rate once a week for the number of weeks in your term — 13, 26 or 52 — and then stops. You are never asked to pay a whole term as a lump sum. For one-off assistance, Stripe charges the single fee once and there is nothing ongoing.
We do not see or store your full card details. If a weekly payment fails we will tell you and give you a reasonable chance to fix it before we pause your assistance. We do not change the price of a term you are part-way through.
7. What this agreement is not
Your fee is for our own time and administrative work. It is payable whether or not you get a particular job, tenancy, enrolment or visa, and it does not increase if you do. We charge no premium in respect of anyone's employment (Wages Protection Act 1983, s 12A) and no letting fee or key money (Residential Tenancies Act 1986, ss 17 and 17A). We guarantee no outcome. Every decision — accepting a job, signing a tenancy, lodging a visa application — is yours alone.
8. Ending the agreement
Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
No cancellation during the term, and no refunds. You commit to the full term you chose. This agreement cannot be cancelled part-way through the term: the weekly payments continue until the term is finished, and payments already made are not refunded, in full or pro-rata. You must finish your term before cancelling. The agreement ends by itself at the end of the term and does not renew automatically. If we cannot provide what you have paid for, we refund the part we cannot provide.
9. Your signed copy and your documents
The moment you sign, we generate a dated copy of this agreement with your name, email address, package, weekly rate, term, start date and end date filled in, and file it in a "Signed agreements" folder in your document folders on this site. You can open it, download it or print it whenever you like. That folder is created for you and cannot be renamed or deleted, so your copy stays where you can find it. You can make as many other folders as you need — for your passport and visa, your CV and cover letters, accommodation, job applications, or anything else — name them, rename them, and upload into them.
We hold your details and documents under the Privacy Act 2020 so that we can do this work. We pass them to a landlord, employer, school, adviser or lawyer only where that is what you have asked us to do. See our Privacy Policy.
10. Signing electronically
You sign by ticking the box and typing your full name on your account page. Under the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 that is a valid signature, and it is the signature recorded on your copy together with your email address and the date and time you signed.
This agreement is entered into on the Terms & Service Agreement published on this site, which forms part of it. New Zealand law governs it. The full, current version of this agreement is always the one on this page; the copy in your folders is the version you signed, and we do not change it afterwards.
